Biography:
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serkan Sugeçti is an environmental toxicologist specializing in the biochemical and molecular mechanisms of contaminant-induced toxicity in living organisms. His research focuses on oxidative stress, endocrine disruption, and neurotoxic pathways associated with exposure to pharmaceuticals, heavy metals, and pesticides. He has a particular interest in insecticide toxicology and the use of model organisms to explore the adverse biological impacts of environmental pollutants from an ecotoxicological perspective. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sugeçti has published numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals and has served as a reviewer in the fields of toxicology, pharmacology, and environmental sciences. His studies contribute to a better understanding of how toxic agents interact with biological systems at molecular and cellular levels, providing valuable insights into the assessment of environmental and health risks.
